COMMITTEE MEETING MINUTES
October 30, 2024
A meeting of the Senate Committee on Regulatory Affairs was scheduled for Wednesday, October 30, 2024, at
2:30 p.m., in the 1100 Room of the Binsfeld Office Building.
The agenda summary is as follows:
1. Testimony regarding: SB 651 (S-1) (Sen. Singh); SB 652 (Sen. Singh), SB 653 (Sen. Cavanagh) and
SB 654 (Sen. Wojno).
The Chair called the meeting to order at 2:30 p.m.. He instructed the Clerk to call the roll. At that time, the
following members were present: Chair Moss, Sen.(s) Polehanki, McCann, Wojno, Santana, Hertel, Hauck,
Webber, Lauwers and Bellino, a quorum was present.
The Chair entertained a motion by Sen. Polehanki to adopt the meeting minutes from October 23, 2024. Without
objection, the minutes were adopted.
The Chair invited Senator Singh to testify on SBs 651-654 and S-1 sub. Member questions followed.
The Chair entertained a motion by Sen. Wojno to adopt the (S-1) version of SB 651. The vote was as follows:
Yeas: Chair Moss, Sen.(s) Polehanki, McCann, Wojno, Santana, Hertel, Hauck, Webber, Lauwers, and
Bellino.
Nays: None
The motion prevailed and the (S-1) was adopted.
